Flowers and Buds 

Flowers on the bush

are somewhat like

me:

I can be a whole flower

Open and Honest: not afraid

of anything....

I can be the bud

closed off and withdrawn

Brittle and afraid of everything

I can also be the dying flower

easy to pick and wilted

needing all the care in the world

to make me a flower again...
