~A boy is Lost~
A boy is lost in a confusing world
His path he could not see
the point of life was oh so dim
He knew not what to be
His direction flickered oh so often
like a flame blown by a sigh
Once bright and bold and then forgotten
He'd coast and then he'd fly
A beautiful child was he
so caring and loving too
but so lost in life's mazes
Not knowing what to do
There are many like him
Aimless as they go
They never see the beauty they share
never feel the love they show
I long to hold him now
to see his face
long to hold his hand and guide him
Make for him a happy place
But I cant try to show him paths to roam
Can't even share my dreams
He cant hear me now for he is gone
Like a flame or so it seems
A boy was lost and found life with gangs
Found belonging and a cause to be
Help our world to provide more for them
"GOD" help them somehow see
Lets show them all the rainbows
Lets show them love from a friend that's safe
Help them learn the self esteem they deserve
Keep them free of want and hate
Love can heal the pain they burden
it can show them the focus they need
it can let them see there is a place in life
It can make them freed
Thank you for knowing him
though it hurts to know he is lost!!
